Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the organisers of Thalamurakalude Sangeetham and Lighthouse Records (collectively, the “Organisers”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you book tickets for or attend Thalamurakalude Sangeetham Live (the “Event”) through this website. By booking a ticket, you accept this Privacy Policy together with our Terms & Conditions.

01Information We Collect

Booking Details. When you book tickets, we collect the name, age, WhatsApp number, and email address of each attendee named in the booking. This information is required to issue individual QR entry passes and to verify attendees at the venue.

Payment Information. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Your card, UPI, or banking details are collected and processed directly by Razorpay on its secure systems in accordance with its own privacy policy — we never see, collect, or store your payment credentials. We receive only a confirmation of payment and a payment reference for reconciliation.

Technical Information. Like most websites, our systems may record basic technical data (such as device type and approximate visitor counts) to keep the booking service reliable and secure. We do not use this data to profile you.

02How We Use Your Information

Ticketing & Entry. We use your details to generate your unique, cryptographically signed QR entry passes, to deliver them to the primary contact’s WhatsApp and email, and to verify attendees at the box office on the day of the Event.

Communications. By booking a ticket and providing your details, you expressly consent to receiving your QR code, transactional updates (such as payment confirmations), and Event-related announcements from us via WhatsApp and email. We will not use your details for unrelated third-party marketing.

Event Administration. Your information is used strictly for event management, ticketing, attendance verification, safety, and record-keeping connected with the Event.

03We Do Not Sell Your Data

Our Commitment. We do not — and will not — sell, rent, trade, or otherwise commercialise your personal information to any third party, for any purpose, under any circumstances. Your details are collected solely to run this Event, and for no other commercial end.

04Photography, Videography & Recording Consent

Consent to Being Filmed. The Event will be professionally photographed, filmed, and recorded. By accepting this Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions, you expressly consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded at the Event, and to your image, likeness, and voice appearing in the resulting material.

Use of Footage. You agree that this material may be used to produce video content which may or may not be used for Thalamurakalude Sangeetham Season 2, and for promotional purposes on our official websites and social media platforms, without compensation, in perpetuity, worldwide.

05Sharing With Service Providers

Limited Sharing. We share your information only with the service providers strictly necessary to run the Event: Razorpay (payment processing), and our email and WhatsApp delivery providers (ticket and notification delivery). Each provider receives only the minimum information needed to perform its service and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose information where required to do so by law, regulation, or a valid request from a governmental authority.

06Data Security

Safeguards. QR entry passes are cryptographically signed to prevent forgery, and your booking data is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we hold.

07Data Retention

Retention Period. We retain booking information for as long as necessary to administer the Event (including entry verification and post-event reconciliation) and to meet legal, accounting, and tax requirements. After that, personal information is deleted or anonymised.

08Your Rights

Access & Correction. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccurate details (for example, a misspelt name or wrong contact number), by writing to us at the address below.

Deletion. You may request deletion of your personal information. Please note that we may need to retain certain records where required for legal or accounting purposes, and that deleting booking data before the Event will invalidate the associated tickets.

09Children's Privacy

Bookings by Adults. Bookings must be made by persons aged eighteen (18) or over. Where a booking includes details of a minor, we rely on the parent or legal guardian making the booking to provide those details and to consent to their use as described in this Policy.

10Changes to This Policy

Updates. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through this website.
